My family had a house in Warren Vt. I learned to ski at Sugarbush, Glenn Ellen (which is Sugarbush north or some shit today) and Mad River Glen. First, I wanted to comment how nice the people are at Bolton. The terrain in the areas I went to was kind of blue square 🟦. The vibes at smaller areas is usually really nice. I probably could (will) spend the rest of my life on blue square terrain. That's not so bad. You would like the Dolomites

Does anyone have any tips for dealing with high wind conditions during a multi-day tour? One thought would be to bring ultra lightweight snowshoes and switch to them in high wind. But I really don't like the idea on aesthetic grounds. I carry inflatable snowshoes in my pulk, but not for high wind, ...
