What I've got currently; I'd like to switch out some but at the moment, L to R: 1) Karhu Kodiak Kinetic's (waxless); abandoned from a ski swap drop off so I adopted them. 2) HyperVector BC's, 171.3) Objective BC's, 164; wish they were longer. 4) K2 Wayback 188's, 167's that ski like 170's; haven't u...

I can understand the warning, because there are some situations where compatibility is an issue, but I agree with Montana that your choices should be fine for the mount.

Re: 2024 Quiver

"They were popular in the Daks back in the 80's. I remember people skiing them with heavy leather boots. They were good turners." (Regarding lowangleal's epoke 900's) I lived in the Daks from around 1980-2001. I had some 900's, and then a pair of the 1000's, which were even better turners. I worked ...

Re: Telemark Equipment for sale.

I don't think the OP has been back on here since shortly after that post. Notice there are no replies or updates from him. But regarding the Scarpa's, I'm a 9.5 and have always worn 27's, without a tight fit. 27.5/28 would be a 10, I believe.

Re: Spring break!

My family used to share a big old farmhouse with a few other families back in the 60's, as a base to ski Mt. Snow. I remember snippets of it well; but Prospect Mtn. was not open in those years. Feel free to correct me if my recollection seems off.

Haven't heard a word from or about Biff since Telemark East went away. He'd been a fixture for a long long while.

Re: Toe bang, really want to make boots work.

I've got Excursions with the stock (non moldable) liners. What does your foot actually measure (like on a Bannock device) for a street shoe? Meanwhile sounds like the preesure might be form the place where the tongue is sewn to the body of the liner, and there's that extra piece of elastin sewn over...

Re: Telehiro and B-Tele Discussion

"I guess the bottom line is, do what's necessary, mix and match if you need to. A, B, whatever. If it works, do it." Exactly how I look at it. Think I've added that comment on a few threads here over the years. More importantly, I'd like to say your skiing looks very good, Montana, and especially gi...

Re: How Do You Ski Downhill?

"My leading foot is already down hill and when I try to bend my knee that leg basically just stays straight and the knee connected to my uphill foot bends." This catches my attention. I tried imitating a turn (in my living room) with a straight front leg, and a bent uphill leg, and couldn't do it. M...
