Re: Toe bang, really want to make boots work.
I've got Excursions with the stock (non moldable) liners. What does your foot actually measure (like on a Bannock device) for a street shoe? Meanwhile sounds like the preesure might be form the place where the tongue is sewn to the body of the liner, and there's that extra piece of elastin sewn over...

Re: Telehiro and B-Tele Discussion
"I guess the bottom line is, do what's necessary, mix and match if you need to. A, B, whatever. If it works, do it." Exactly how I look at it. Think I've added that comment on a few threads here over the years. More importantly, I'd like to say your skiing looks very good, Montana, and especially gi...

Re: How Do You Ski Downhill?
"My leading foot is already down hill and when I try to bend my knee that leg basically just stays straight and the knee connected to my uphill foot bends." This catches my attention. I tried imitating a turn (in my living room) with a straight front leg, and a bent uphill leg, and couldn't do it. M...

Re: Switchback rods for a 27 shell?
I checked for rubbing, and don't see any issues there. The cartridges do turn easily (the threads do arrive greased) though. I've had some movement with those older BD's, ended up wrapping a bit of duct tape where the cartridge meets the cable. I think Loc-Tite could be problematic if any readjustme...

Re: Switchback rods for a 27 shell?
"Good luck with the shorter rods Phoenix, let us know how it goes." Voile's support was stellar, as always. Swapped out the standard rods for short ones, got them nicely adjusted, went for a trial tour... Much to my dismay, ten minutes into touring on a groomed trail, I did a completely un-instigate...

Re: 2024 Quiver
"If you couldn't tell, I was expecting more snowfall and wanted to ensure the wood stayed well elevated and in direct line of wind. Most of that gets used in the sauna."
I totally get it! I always keep the wood off the ground and covered. Good size splits for the sauna stove!

Re: Switchback rods for a 27 shell?
I get good tension on the heel throws initially, but they loosen, and move off center as they do. Looks fine initially, but doesn't allow proper spring actvity in the cartridge.
