Re: Johnny, Pierre, and the beast. Or the new Telemark Tech Norm (TTN) vs the future of XCD (NTN-BC)
Wow it’s the most beautiful think I’ve ever seen! This boot/binding combinaison make so much sense on pretty much every perspective. It sucks I did not invent this system myself. Reverse 2 pins There is nothing I hate most than having my NNN BC boots clogged with snow when I step outside my car and ...

Re: Outlaw-X Snaps
Bri7 Perhaps a little more nickel sprinkled in? Too much variables, too less informations. Which kind of SS was used? Martensitic, austhenitic or ferretic? Was the bend perform under heating? Is there a HAZ (heat affected zone) on the rod? I’d like to see how titanium perform on that king of bindin...

Re: Outlaw-X Snaps
I’m curious, do you guys remember in which meteorological conditions did you break your Outlaws? From my computer screen this looks really similar to the Rottefella toe cup problem. The toe cup had 2 issues, stress concentration and ductile-to-brittle transition. First, the stress concentration in t...

Re: NNNBC move binding
This solution is not too bad either and it gives you unlimited adjustement. T nuts are inserted in the aluminum profile but you have to carry an allen key to move your binding around. 969E251E-4C22-4E60-A989-E98F6A33583A.jpeg 42DCEF1C-96CC-47D2-8D5E-80F544E536B1.jpeg 35DE5611-C63F-4FE3-BBD5-1DDCC842...

Re: NNNBC move binding
The top plate has nothing special yet Johnny. This version has holes for nnn bc only but i’m not sure I’ll will screw the binding for this winter. I might glue the whole binding on the plate. The thickness of the plate is very minimal. The tensile strength of the plastic is not optimal for my body w...

NNNBC move binding
A few years ago, Rottefella made a great improvement for the cross-country skiing with the MOVE binding system which made it possible to move the binding for grip and glide without taking off your skis. Rail system for NNN binding and alpine binding have been around for a while but nothing (to my kn...

Re: Breccia Peak Ski May 17, 2020
Ok Rod, I think we have a serious contender for the last turn of 2020.... I don’t think that we can beat Tom M unless we pull a rabbit out of the hat this summer (read mont groulx)
