Re: Axe-Hewn Skis

Re: A humbling day

Thanks again for all the input. Slowly but surely hammering it out. Got out for a good long day of lift serve at King Pine yesterday, 6hrs minus a short lunch break. Trying to saturate myself in experience . Legs are smoked :D . 8" of fresh groomed snow that already had 3-4" on top of it b...

Its like that bad girl that you know you should stay away from, but you keep going back for more. On days like those I question my decision to go out, but by the time I get back Im dreaming about the next outing. Experience points, thats what I tell myself. Great pics!

I'm pretty sure I was in the backseat, thought I had cured that bad habit, but as you say when things are difficult.... I was definite...

Re: Lynx in my yard

Thats neat. I hope to spot a bobcat one of these days, but they are pretty elusive around here. Ill have to settle for bear, deer, moose and yuppies.

Some great backwoods/bc skiing while conditions permitted, almost daily XC skiing or uphill-pass-accessed ski mountain runs. Its been awesome, alot of time on my S112s, even on one particularly crust...
