happy summer, ya'll

Hey gang, After catching the BC Nordic bug last fall, I’m sadly not in the best shape as Summer comes to a close. I’ve been chasing a kind of frustrating injury situation as some may recall. Re: Hi again

That’s a great deal! I love that you bought more skis without skiing [emoji23][emoji24]. This was my first year out doing the BC Nordic thing myself and I was only able to get 4 sessions in on my new Fischer 78s

Re: Satchel’s Neophyte Nordic Backcountry Adventure Thread

Thanks for the photo-love + advice on all fronts gentlemen. In my estimation, it’s always better to get out than not, so I ain’t mad at it. I’m just really wanting to get some extended quality time on these new skis of mine, and I can’t say this winter has cooperated. Hoping for a couple more goes o...

Satchel’s Neophyte Nordic Backcountry Adventure Thread

Well...... I got out for a quick pre-work Valley tour yesterday after the recent snow, and in spite of my enthusiasm, I gotta say it was probably the worst time I’ve had on skis this season haaaaa [emoji23]. If I didn’t enjoy Type II fun so much, I prolly woulda packed it in ASAP and headed for coff...

Re: Catskills get dumped on.

Was sick Friday and now the Kids have me tied up all weekend! Gah! Killing me. Want to go before work tomorrow but here in the river valley at the foot of the Catskills where I live the temps are rising and snow is melting super quick :-/

Re: North Country Scenic Trail

So satchel, who is that guy that made your pack? Dan McHale has been making extremely high-quality custom backpacks out of his shop in Seattle for a good 35 years+. He’s kind of a legend in his own right, except unlike other “pack gurus” (Dana Gleason of Dana Designs/Mystery Ranch for example) he n...

Re: North Country Scenic Trail
