Full width skins - often referred to as "wall-to-wall" - are really only needed for traversing on firm slopes, where only a bit of the edge of your skis are in contact with the snow, so you need skin right up to the edge. getting them wet will not hurt them. Just don't dry them aggressively, as too much heat will cause damage.

Corn dogs
Corn snow. Rolling terrain, with the occasional steeper bit here and there. NNN-BC boots, Skarvet or Guard Advance most likely. I am a crummy skier, but i like to explore. Think transportation skis. Recommend me something. Waxables need not apply.

I ordered 46 and 47 in the alaska 75. I am usually 11.5 or 12 US in shoes. My other ski boots are 29.5 mondo Garmont excursions worn with a thin to medium sock. With that same sock the 46 alaska is about right just trying it on, might want a slightly thicker sock. My feet probably like D to E width....

got them out. no glue, just fitted in there so tight it seemed like it. Slipped in my orthotics to try the boots on, and almost couldn't get the orthotic out!
