Re: T2 liners - can these be heated?

Good info above. If all I wanted was room in the toe I would DIY just the toe with toe cap and my heaviest sock. I have Intuition Power Wraps in Root Beer T3's to reduce weight and a Intuition wrap from some 2006 Raichle DH boots in my Dynafit Ones

Re: T2 liners - can these be heated?

Yes you can reheat. After 3-4 reheats the liners won't expand as much. Feet get longer as we get older.
I question whether a remold will make liners longer.

Re: Help with posting photos?

That didn't work for me using Google Photos. If the site hosting the pics goes away or changes so will the picture.

Re: Help with posting photos?

I download to my desktop if it is a pic I don't have in the computer already. If the pic is from my Google Pictures I crop it a touch first to be sure it wont post sideways. Hit "attachments" tab below next to "options". Click "add files" button. Choose the file. Hit th...

Re: Avalanche

Part of traveling safely in avalanche prone terrain is to know when the talk and when to walk. I paused to chat with this experienced skier and he suggested choosing one side or the other of the slide path to continue our conversation. Reducing the time one is at risk is a part of avoidance. windypa...

Lift assisted BC/XC Cascade Mini "Tour"

When it's noon and the mountains say snow and the wife says "Go" you go. Even if the Avy warning is at moderate and you have to go solo. Got to the "trail head" at 1 when spaces start opening in the parking lot. 20 feet of human powered vert got me up another 1200. lift.JPG 50 fe...

Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!

Definitely would recommend NB. Our ski shop is owned by a Swiss Mountain guide and caters to all things for alpine touring. Two climbing walls and a bike park. Resident elk herd. Bears, mountain lions, homeless travelers, 2nd Amendment nutjobs and Microsoft Execs all mixed together. Summer is 6 week...

Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!

It's Mt Si in North Bend Wa. Snow this low is unusual. Only the 2nd time in the 8 years we have been here. The 3' of snow closed all the roads of for a week. This old railroad bed runs behind our house and goes east for hundreds of miles.

Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!

The golf course has been open for skiing this winter. Two week ago I played golf here and two weeks from now I'll play again. It snowed 3' in 3 days here in the valley and THREE FEET IN ONE DAY up on the mountain.
