Re: ASNES Mountain Race 48 Skin place to buy from in Europe ?
Anyone have a place they know where I can purchase the ASNES Mountain Race 48 Skin Skis that would mail to a European address? I looked at one Store in Norway online but they only deliver in Norway. If I'm posting on the wrong board please move this or let me know which area to post in. I'm in Pola...

Re: Asnes Mountain Race 48 SKIN
I'd like to buy the waxable version of this ski, but La Cordee only carries the skin version. Does anybody know whether you can peel off the skins if you dont like them and use kick wax? Is the base milled to accommodate the skins, or is it just flat? I wouldnt hesitate to buy the skin version if t...

Re: Voile Objective BC- good grip, not a full review but thoughts
If they would let me across the border I could bring a 187 Tindan. Not too long, turns by just thinking about it, and floats my 190 lbs. Oh yeah, it only takes a little blue wax to kick along too! It would be great to have a more in depth review of your Tindan. You talked it a couple of times over ...

Re: Voile Objective BC- good grip, not a full review but thoughts
I have decided instead of a longer Objective, just ski a V6 in the same or longer length. But harder to drive with leathers, if that's your thing. But the V6 is beautiful skiing. I could swear I would have got the very same answer from lilcliffy ;) I just wonder if they would be long enough at 183 ...

Re: Voile Objective BC- good grip, not a full review but thoughts
I have nothing but good things to say about this ski in almost all conditions under 6-8" of fresh. Anything more and I would like a longer length. Also, it's so light it tends to get batted around a bit in chunder. After much deep though, I think an Objective with a little more weight in a 183 or 1...

Re: Asnes FT62 - 180cm vs 188cm
@Nitram Tocrut My FT188 is the green one so the new version So are mine. As for risers, last year I had simple 3 pin/cables on my 188 and this year I have HW mounted on Traverse risers for the 196. I am really tempted to remove the risers as I think I had a better connection with the snow without r...

Re: Asnes FT62 red version (old) vs green version (new)
Do you know apart from the cosmetic if there is a difference between the old model (red) and the newer (green). I copied that from the Asnes thread. That is from Crister who works from Asnes and happen to be involved in the development (I think) of the FT62. I don’t think you could get a better ans...

Re: Åsnes Falketind 62 (FT62) 172cm
Just need to rectify one thing from David awesome review of the FT62... he was not in the middle of nowhere but on the hill just next to my family farm where I grew up ;) I was already an avid XC skier at that time and my neighbor big hill was a bit frightening for me and my friends. We did go a cou...
