Re: Gear Basket
The pattern is variable because it is hand made as we can see in the picture. It is not factory made
I think they are actually factory seconds, possibly prototyping waxless patterns or tweaking machines. There are a lot of them, I don't think some single guy would buy a dozen Sondr...

Re: Gear Basket

I am really tempted by these. I am trying to decide if it is worth the gamble on the waxless pattern. ASNES "SONDRE O. NORDHEIM" METAL EDGE BC BACK xc CROSS COUNTRY SKIS $29.99 plus $37.36 shipping. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F202843797299 I've a...

I did it!!!

Yes!!! I finally got my old Europa 99 to do some «  linked » turns :o Oh well, that is not worth of a video but I can say that it was a really good feeling to make those long skinnys turn on a tiny layer of snow on a hard surface.... Finally getting snow so will try them again on some powder... why ...

Re: Falketind 62 Review

I was with boby13 for it's first day with it's FT62 and I had my Rabbs68 mounted with cable Travverse and Alaska. Although I was really pleased with the Rabbs I could see the difference in stability between the 2 skis and boby13 confirmed it in its review. I don't regret buying the Rabbs but if I h...

Re: Falketind 62 Review

I forgot to thank's boby13 for the opportunity he offered me to ski the summits of Tremblant... and he forgot to thank me for finding some water hazards when I was breaking the trail  ... but he did spent at least 10 minutes deicing my skis after I sank in the snow!!!

Re: Falketind 62 Review

Also met Nitram Tocrut for the first time, we did a 13 km trip from top of Mont-Tremblant to the North side base... lot of fun! They are the easiest thing to ride down twisty narrow xcD trails, easy to P-turn on hard pack and T-turn in powder. And on the flat they're pretty stable (the groove on th...

Re: X2 vs 3 pin HW for XC

You did well young Luke skywalker I take your comment as a blessing, Yoda ;) I made you even prouder of me as I did not have to spend a penny to get this new pair of skis  And Princess Lea had the opportunity to try it's new FT62's and I was amazed how easy they seem to turn even at low speed....

Re: X2 vs 3 pin HW for XC

Free the Rabbs!!! Yes I did freed my Rabbs from the tyranny of the X2 bindings :D I installed a Voile Traverse I already had, it shares the same drill pattern so that was easy, and took them out for a ride. Well, it's like I got a new pair of skis :o First of all, a pair of Traverse, according to Vo...

Re: X2 vs 3 pin HW for XC

Thank's everyone for the feedback, it is really appreciated and useful as usual! I knew I should have listened to myself and simply install a simple 3 pin Traverse as planned... But I don't blame anyone but me... I will find a way to get the best out of those skis that I really like by the wa...
