Re: The Rockpile last week- pics

Wide stance or narrow shouldn't change where or how you get centered, but you will find out a lot quicker if you're not centered in a wide stance. It also forces you to be more precise at carving the rear ski. Woods's skiing is fine, but I think a wider stance will add to his skill and enjoyment. It...

Well said Johnny. Gt enjoys pissing people off. You would think someone that is so concerned about how they look ski...

Re: The Rockpile last week- pics

Re: The Rockpile last week- pics

Thanks for the kudos on the stance. Learning tele in a vacuum over here and always happy to get some advice and tips and critiques. Thanks to my buddy YOUNG ZEUS for the great pictures. Good for you for still getting out there. Your stance is good as far as fore and aft, and it seems to be working ...

Re: hemiboreal forest skiing in New Brunswick Canada

Thanks Gareth. I was thinking about them for my grandkids. I don't get out with them enough to make it worthwhile to get the skis, but they have kids skis with a similar binding that I am thinking about remounting on cheap used kids DH skis as they get bigger.

Re: My dreams of Switzerland after so many years

It looks like you had a great time, and that's what matters. Plus you got to revisit a special place from your past, it sounds like it was money well spent. I never knew you had such deep roots over there.

I would love to have one of those birch sleds.

That looks like a great place for a ski trip Rando, thanks for sharing.

Re: The Åsnes Thread

So the two waxless models are the first and only waxless skis in their lineup? Those wide skis look real nice too.

You've got me beat Johnny, my wife has gotten mad at me for skiing too much also, but I never had to sleep in a tent.
