Re: NNN-BC versus Pins: Just the facts

I wish to apologize for my most recent post. Please forgive me. It was not my intent to offend anyone. I am afraid I can have a bit of potty mouth (growing up cutting wood for a living where foul language is part of the culture still comes out in me at times)- my use of foul language was inappropri...

Re: NNN-BC versus Pins: Just the facts

Okay. So forgive me- this may take me quite a few words to articulate my thoughts on this… The first point I want to make is that Johnny is speaking exclusively about “Cross-Country Shoes”. Any comment he makes about “XCD” purely refers to downhill skiing with cross-country shoes and bindings. He i...

Re: XCD north of Quebec City

I have both; bunch of modern, bunch of old skis... I like them all for all kinds of reasons. Yesterday, I was with the father of Karhu XCD ski lines (designer)... I bought 2 new pairs: Pinnacle and 10th Mountain tour... I might put the 10th for sale (185 cm; I bought them for a friend which might no...

Plus, the socialist had been democratically beaten by the Nazis in 1930 Germany... They largely outnumbered them in the polls... That doesn't mean they were right.
(Just a LITTLE exaggeration here to make things more spicy! LOL)

XCD north of Quebec City

I followed Lo-fi (alias Pank Ache) in his attempt to simplify things, mainly by using Voile cables bindings without pins (keeping the cables at all time, kind of loose...). I ressurect a pair of old Tua that were in bad shape (really rusty edges, uneven bases, little delam near the tails, etc). Put ...

Re: line supernatural for telemark?

Well, if you ski on-piste, Line skis are alright (never tried though). But one thing I know: they are heavy... So if you are planning to skip on-piste skiing eventually — after getting confident — do not look into that direction. K2 Wayback are much better in that respect... Very polyvalent... And l...

Re: G3 Reverend with Targa binding

On beautiful powder day, your T4/Reverend will be alright... not perfect but alright; try em in the BC first. On hardback, that's a different story, as Ben Grégoire said... (salut Ben!).
