Re: NNN-BC toe bumper stiffness

I find the white bumpers are pretty impossible, even after trying to drill out some material from them to make them softer. Ahahaha! That is saying a lot about them... 8-) They are also very hard to install... I almost destroyed the first pair I tried to replace... It is quite popular to mount NNN-...

Re: 80's range waisted rocker ski

Hey Martin, What you call the mid point is usually the spot where you should align your boot center, not the pivot point... This spot is not necessarily the ski chord center or balance point... You are right, the best mounting point is probably a few inches forward... Align your boot center with the...

Re: Asnes Ingstad BC 2018 Ski Review

I think he's joking about the price. If he wants them now, the only place they can be ordered is at SportAlbert for 500$ + shipping... ;) Not sure about Neptune yet, but they will be available for sure here in Canada... It might be even cheaper for you guys to order them from Canada with the actual...

Powder day #12 today... My personal favorite time of the year... What a perfect Tuesday morning... Dedicated to all the great folks who are living the dream everyday: Working full time, living in the city, wearing puffy jackets and driving Subarus... ;) DSC_02112.jpg DSC_02012.jpg DSC_01812.jpg

Re: NNN-BC toe bumper stiffness

I might be wrong, but I think the red ones are NNN mediums only...?
I have only seen black and white BC flexors... White being incredibly, ridiculously fucking stiff... :D

Re: NNN-BC on-piste?

Instead of buying a BC steep and deep ski I am thinking of buying the new Ingstad... In reality, what you are actually thinking is buying every single ski out there my dear... When I bought the Skogs, my intention was to use them both for BC XC and on-piste DH... Even if it's a girls, single ...

Re: NNN-BC toe bumper stiffness

Twould appear that Rottefella's intent for the stiffer more active red flexor is for Nordic skating... Yeah, the red NNN ones are obviously for skating... But for NNN-BC...? Why would anyone want a stiff flexor except for downhill purposes? Nobody is using NNNBC for downhill... Nobody is making tur...

Re: NNN-BC on-piste?

Yep, I do all the time... My S98s and my Tua Hydrogens are my dedicated NNN on-piste skis... (The more I play with the Ingstad, the more I think it would also make a super-nice on-piste DH NNN ski... Quiver ski... Quiver ski...) I always make my own leashes with removable key rings... So I can remov...

Re: NTN newbie, should I get the Meidjo 2.1 or Outlaw X ?

Well said... One of the cool things about tele no matter what gear used is how it can work using personalized techniques. You can take 2 people on completely different gear, using somewhat different technique, and both can jam a slope with authority. I've switched skis with guys and wondered how in ...

Re: Asnes Ingstad BC 2018 Ski Review

Grampa, have you ever paid more than 10$ for a pair of skis? You can buy a pair of Asnes Ingstads right now, ski them on rocks and logs and fern and piss on them for only 600$ USD + import fees. You will LOVE them, the rocker will make them turn very easily while providing perfect stability on deep ...
