Re: New OAC XCD GT UC

I had the chance to see the new / upcoming OAC XCD GT UC here last winter... I was very excited about it... In fact, OAC had a pair for me but their North American distributor decided at the last minute that he wouldn't let me go home with them... (Mo^!%^&%!%!@^% / F***ing waste of time...) The ...

Re: New Asnes skis for the 2017-2018 season!

I think the absolute minimum width needed for the holes is 47mm, so 48mm does not leave much extra room. NNN-BC... 8-) will be interesting to see what lengths are made of the Tonje ski. Pretty girls and huskies? I'm sure some guys would take that over Ingstad's glare! I see Ingstad is looking a lit...

Re: New Asnes skis for the 2017-2018 season!

How is the Asnes Tonje Blomseth different than the Asnes Ingstad? As a ski designed for women, will it be softer flexing, lighter weight or have a different profile than the Ingstad? I'm pretty sure it will be the same profile but with a softer camber... Not sure they will make them longer than 190...

Re: New Asnes skis for the 2017-2018 season!

Yep, but the Nansen is not advertised as a rocker ski... HBS, it should be interesting to see the difference between your Nansens and the brand new rocker. La Cordee and Norseman in Canada should have them later this season. And according to Cannatonic , Neptune should carry a lot of Asnes skis this...

Re: New Asnes skis for the 2017-2018 season!

I asked them about the sidecut when they sent me the pictures, but they didn't answer... I suppose it must be the same as the previous one...? (84 62 74) I'm looking forward to see the flex on these babies... I'm very curious about the Asnes version of a rockered ski... As far as I know, this is the...

Re: Looking for the ultimate XCD ski pole

Yeah I've been looking for a pair of 250cm+ skis for years... Especially the 260cm Karhu Hunt BearGrip... Or those 300cm wooden finish skis... Any leads in NA?

Re: Looking for the ultimate XCD ski pole

We all need a different pole for every job. I have like 50 pairs of poles. But last week, I built myself THE ultimate powder pole. I had problems finding poles longer than my 180cm Swix ones. There is not a single adjustable pole in the world that goes longer than 160cm. I don't know what kind of sh...
