Re: SWAP?

Oh- didn't mean to be so unclear- I wasn't' suggesting that the MGV Glitt was "poor"- at least compared to other double-cambered scaled skis. I simply meant that I prefer the waxable Glitt to the waxless. Oh, that makes more sense... ;) Of course wax will always be better... But the MGV w...

Sorry about the confusion... There is no plate on the Freedom...
I just typed the wrong suffix after "Free"... My neurons don't always follow my thoughts... 8-)

Re: SWAP?

It's amazing to see how some things work for others... How we can have totally different opinions about the same things...! I find the MGV pattern the one with the best grip... For me the Glits are my best climbing waxless skis... I'd love to see the MGV pattern on wider skis... They would be ...

Re: 22designs Lynx TTS/NTN

To Jonny... Actually in the new Telemark Skier edition that mentions the new 22 Designs Lynxs it also reviews a 22 Designs mount plate that supposedly works with a large number of bindings, NTN, 75 mil etc. Yep, Telebuddies have been around for a while... The thing is that you have to remount the w...

Re: 22designs Lynx TTS/NTN

I wish my bindings on Chargers could move back when snow is deep... not a good position for hard snow though. BBergey, what you need is a pair of Freedoms... or TWO pairs of Chargers... ;) Yep, 12 holes in each ski for the Meidjo... No place for mistakes or placement experimentation... But it's pro...

Re: Do I need a rebar?

As I said, there is absolutely no loose on the bar or the assembly... So its got to be the wear or a slight bend on the bar itself... And as Waitin' mentioned, it doesn't seem to be just a bar, but a complex metal part that goes around the whole front block for more durability... Gee Bri, I can't be...

Re: Asolo Telebreeze: did anybody ski a pair? review?

Back when I got my first pair of Asolo leather boots, after a few seasons doing the tele thing, the boot I started dreaming about was the Telebreeze... They were quite easy to find at a decent price... But the reviews were ALL saying the same thing: No matter how you ski them, they would eventually ...

Re: 22designs Lynx TTS/NTN

I never feel the need to adjust my binding location once mounted I do. But hey, I'm a freak... If Rottefella can come out with movable NNN bindings at only 149g each, I see no reason why it couldn't be done on NTN... Ok ok, never that light... But the ability to move the binding a few centime...

Bindings 101: How to mount Telemark bindings (Part II)

Telemark Mountain Tips.jpg Now that you have a supa-dupa, hyper-mega clear idea of Where to Mount Telemark Bindings , it's now time for drilling. Measure twice, drill once as they say. Here are some tips by Black Diamond, a company that doesn't make tele bindings anymore, that doesn't make telemark...

Bindings 101: Where to mount Telemark bindings (Part I)

Mouting Telemark Bindings.jpg Mounting Telemark Bindings By Johnny You might own the most expensive carbon skis and triple-injected boots on the market, and you might know by heart all the 384 pages of the official Canadian Telemark Instructor’s book. But I think the most important thing when it co...
