Re: riser plates in the backcountry?

Re: Ski Movies

More aggressive skiing with some un-needed commentary, but whatever.

Re: 2017 WoodenSki dot com inventory is up

Does she ski? I didn't know you were married. I don't remember ever seeing her in a TR. You're always getting new skis, I never hear about her new skis and now you are going to Europe without her. Maybe your next wife will like the smell of pine tar ;) ;) OooHH OK, smart guys! Check out her sweet a...

WTB Black Diamond DIN compatible sole block LARGE

Subject line says it all. Not the AT sole blocks, the DIN blocks. For alpine boots.

Re: Spring skiing voyaging... which ski to bring?

Yeah- I want a Tind 85 or Objective pretty bad... I would actually prefer the integrated kicker skin over the scaled base with a ski like this... BUT- without ever actually handling either ski- let alone skiing them- I prefer the more traditional camber of the Objective. The Tind looks dead flat wi...

Re: Spring skiing voyaging... which ski to bring?

Now what? HENCE this conversation. It's really coming down to the Asnes Tind 85 (impossible to source, almost) and the Voile Objective, or something similar. Mid 80's, rocker, light, short, etc. Tough. A do-it-all ski for a low soft boot. A quiver killer for a skinny non-musclely guy with moderate ...
