It's a bit like Schrodinger's cat. Had you stayed, it wouldn't snow.

Re: Holy sh** I am worn out tonight
I feel your pain.....actually, I feel my pain. Today was day 51 between PC, Deer Valley, and Brighton. I'm practically on an ibuprofen drip, with some nightly bourbon! Sunday night into Monday - big storm plus a few for the week. I wouldn't be surprised if the bird gets 4 feet this week, after Sunda...

Re: Vice mounting without jig
If it's a modern ski, I'd highly recommend boot center over the manufacturer's recommended mounting point. Especially if you are aggressive. Re: ski recommendation
I will spend most of my time skiing in the East Coast and probably 70% of the time on the slopes so I guess I wouldn't need skis that are too soft but softer than their alpine counterpart? I wouldn't buy a pair of world cup GS skis, but honestly, I don't think there's any need to "downgrade" on sti...

Re: ski recommendation
The other great thing about the '70's was that I wasn't almost in my 70's! Nice picture! Where was that? Nice YouTube channel, BTW. Great Montana Ski story. The photo was taken in the Absaroka's of Wyoming. We would build a snow cave as a base and spend a week skiing the nearby slopes. I was very p...

Re: ski recommendation
In 1970 I was skiing backcountry on wooden skis with Silveretta bindings and mountaineering boots in the Crazy Mountains north of Livingston Montana. It was fun. I won't be going back. [/quote] The 70's; wooden skis, Silvretta bindings. Good times. The best thing about the 70's was that the snowmob...
