@Nitram Tocrut Martin, such a beautiful place! It sure looks like you had fun! I forgot you had a Rabb, it looks like it suits you. How long is your Rabb? Boots / bindings?

Re: BCX TRANSNORDIC 75 waterproof

wabene the ST matches up to a thinner duckbill like my thermomolded Alaska 75. When the ST / cable first arrived I didn’t think I liked the cable. Now after using it, I would use it on any ski I wasn’t planning on skiing in plastic the majority of the time. The hardwires on the cable squeeze tight ...

I almost forgot, @Nitram Tocrut , once the deep snows come, and you decide to rip down your neighbor’s hills, you will need a pair of FT X! ;)

Yes these boots are great. I switched from NNN-BC to 75mm bindings to be able to use a wider variety of more supportive boots and I end up liking most this boot which, ironically also exists in NNN-BC, and the Crispi Bre which is very comfortable but not really more torsionally stiff than the Steti...

Re: 2022 Falketind 62 Xplore 196 cm First Impressions

Gareth, As it relates to downhill performance the difference in longitudinal stiffness is the difference. I could not as of yet perceive the difference in torsional stiffness, although I am all fit torsional improvements. The knife cuts both ways when it comes to being stiffer and more supportive in...

2022 Falketind 62 Xplore 196 cm First Impressions

Hello, this is to report my first impressions of the 2022 Asnes Falketind Xplore 196 cm ski. I’m not a good poker player, people tend to see where I’m coming from. It’s actually one of my greatest strengths, people tend to trust my honest opinions. However people can also see my enthusiasm, despite ...

Ever Pull a Hamstring in a Telemark Turn?

The cover was thin, but it’s a nice downhill. There was only 6”-7” of cold dry powder on top of the icy remnants of what was enough base. So the first time through I rubbed a couple rocks. I decided to run it again, keep the skis pretty flat, point them down hill, keep in the Telemark position, and ...

I cork my polar in, and I am quite pleased with the results. So when I feel a need to improve I’ll step up to ironing.
