Not for me. I have mid-week days off. That and Summit/Alpental are my pass areas (40 min drive, whereas Crystal is almost 2 hrs away). Alpental is only running weekends now, which is a bummer--top of the mountain is probably skiing great right now.teledance wrote:Wow, you still have months of skiing at Crystal.

Re: Adapting to NTN - rear ski binding stiffness
A little bit of an update. I am using leashes at the moment so got some stainless steel D-links and sorted out the boots. I made up an aluminum bracket and used some slightly longer bolts. It worked good today. http://www.no-limit-fx.com/Dump/Prophet_D-Link_001.JPG http://www.no-limit-fx.com/Dump/P...

Re: Last day... Sniff.
I skied a place called Crystal Mountain (WA) yesterday. And today I was up at my season pass area called Snowqualamie.MikeK wrote:Where are you skiing at?

Re: Year in review: What did you learn?
I learned the Meidjo binding is an expensive mistake that might someday be otherwise. I learned there is a far better alternative to Rott bindings despite the afore-mentioned (Outlaws). I learned how to ski and enjoy PNW slop (my first year out here). I learned that the best ski for teleing PNW cond...

Last day... Sniff.
What a couple final days of my season. Yesterday skied 10" of fresh tracks on top of boiler plate steeps in dense fog (it was actually really fun), and then today skied slush bumps under blue skies in t-shirt temps. It has been one helluva season. But now the skis and gear are stored away. I'll miss...

Re: TX Pro heel lift.
My wife was having problem of slop in her alpine boots and the ski tech fitted one of those to solve the problem. I generally don't like going to "pros" to fix my stuff, but yeah, maybe I should swallow my pride more often. Ha! Oddly... My older TX Pro boots had that incorporated into their "wrap" ...

Re: Adapting to NTN - rear ski binding stiffness
IainAhh... Two things come to mind when I read your post. 1) if you have your bindings mounted aft of ski marked boot center, with NTN, they can act really screwy--as in fighting to not get back-seated onto the rear ski. A half inch can make a big difference in how the skis work for you. Some would ...

Re: Meidjo NTN 2.0 review/warning
If you look closely at the load path for those screws, it can be seen you'd really have to go far, far forward to put the load in a direction that would want to pull them out of the ski. In the picture show, with the boot heel only raised slightly, they are loaded more or less in shear. Knowing not...

While we are on Taylor ( :o ) I posted this on another thread, but 'tis a Jersey punk/grunge band covering a Swifty song: I love it! I think I'm in love. Do you think she needs an old fart, balding and divorced pseudo Mac Daddy, old-kneed Tele Tool? Sigh,...
