Re: Crispi Futura Pro feedback.
Forgive me if I’m missing something here. Various posts in this thread and others have talked about different XP boots having stiffer or softer soles. My understanding is that there is only one XP sole, which boot manufacturer’s then glue to their particular upper. So is it less the sole and more th...

Re: Either I am right or the sizes are wrong.
The mondo size is dictated by the length of your foot, not the shell. With toes touching the front of the boot one finger behind is a performance fit with one and a half fingers giving a more relaxed fit. With a comfortable two finger behind your shell is probably too big. Baking the liner can solve...

Re: Prototype…
Innovative work John. My question would be how do you secure the heel piece to the boot? I’m kind of thinking with a new boot from Scarpa ready to drop (as discussed in the other forum) assuming it’s F1 weight, a TTS option could be a viable alternative to what you’re doing.

Re: T2 Ecos as a boot quiver of one?
The biggest difference will probably be in the alignment of the bellows. The older Scarpa boots’s bellows went rectulangulary across, but probably someone in Scarpa said “ hang on - people’s toe knuckles are on the diagonal”. So the later boots bellows are on a slant. I would ski the old boots and i...

Re: I want a ski for leathers at the resort
Not in my experience. There is a partial sidewall at the centre of the ski and the torsional rigidity is good. Comparing to the Rossi BC 110’s and Guides I owned previously they are streets ahead, particularly in Spring snow. It wasn’t until I bought a pair of G3 Stinger BC, an AT ski with scales th...

Re: I want a ski for leathers at the resort
Another suggestion is Hagan Pure 75. I have the predecessor Ride 75 which I ski with Rotte 3PC and Alaskas. I don’t actually ski it at the resort, but on firmer snow it does OK with a leather boot. It’s made in the Fischer factory and is around 2.5 kg in a 163 so not super light but a bit of heft i...

Re: Help me find a 75mm boot!
I believe the T3 and T4 are basically identical, except the T3 has a removable power strap. The T3 was discontinued in 2008 when I snapped up a pair. I’m still skiing it, but I don’t bother with the power strap (doesn’t do anything as far as I can tell) and I’ve stripped off the hokey tour mode atta...

Re: Lite Dogz mounting template
I measured the Targa template you showed above Manney and the four forward holes of the Lite Dogz correspond exactly. There are an additional pair of holes/screws behind the Targa equivalent rear screws but I think I can work around that. Thanks.
