so it appears that the detents that are supposed to hold the adjustment of the springs are shot, so the torque of the compressed spring is pushing past the worn detents. I just compared my crispi boot in my Bomber bishop binding to my Scarpa Intuition in the Rotefella free ride and the bishop setup ...

do the brakes stay engaged until your toe is in? with my Rotefellas, the brakes release when I try to get my toe in, so of course the ski slides forward.....

Saturday the lift line in Mineral was a bit long in the morning because thats where the sun was. but we moved over to the other side, I forget what its called, but you drop-in off of Road to Provo.

I love the idea of the easy step-in/out, but its one thing to align the pins with the toe holes on a workbench, its entirely different in real life. can someone with experience with this side-pin setup comment? seems like it would be frustrating

Rottefella NTN stiffness question

I have an older pair of Rotefella NTN bindings that I bought used this year. couple of questions: 1) how do I adjust the stiffness of the bindings? do I simply turn the blue plastic pieces to the right( to tighten)? is there any risk in over-tightening the springs and grenading the bindings? 2) anyo...

I'm good for about 5hrs in a day. at Snowbird that was 20 runs and about 20k vertical ( my sister was using an app called Slopes)l. after a day like that, my legs are jello and I'm basically sideslipping parallel turns the last run because my legs won't do what they are told. btw, the app showed abo...

how can anyone on this forum say "why bother" when I say that I can only get 5-6 days of skiing per year? I grew up in VT nordic racing and ski jumping. I taught myself to Tele ski on junk when I was 12. 38 years later I still love the sport. why bother? dropping into a bowl at Snowbird? fresh track...

I get 5-6 days of skiing per year. I just did 2 at Snowbird, and I will get 3 at Vail in 2 weeks. unless by some miracle it snows in NJ/PA, that is all I will get this year.
