Nordica and Blizzard are distributed by the same guys... I suspect the skis are made at the same place. For instance, if you take a W Black Pearl, and you look under Nordica catalogue, you'll find the same ski under a different name and graphics. As far as I am concerned, if I was looking for a carv...

Last week-end, I saw this guy skiing the Discovery 102... I asked him to investigate his skis further close. Yeah, very low & supple camber. This leads me to think they are probably good turners. But when I looked at the tips, I found them to be very flat (no rocker, on the contrary... very low tips...

One thing I would do with these Sondre: fill the somewhat bizarre fish scale pattern with ptex and use em with kick wax...

Yup, I second the Black Diamond Seaker; the orange version, not the blue... Few shops do have them in NOS. Even better, if you can, find a pair of Axis... More Power than a T2, not as much as a T1, with a sweet flex... No rocker, even after many seasons (why is that? I can't say)...

Ah! Ok... But I am still wondering; is a fabric eyelet cheaper than a metal one? There is more manipulation with the first one (2 contact points) in the mfg process.
