Difference between midstiff & freeflex
I would like to know if there is a big difference between midstiff & freeflex cartridge on a BD 01... Same sort of difference between a Switchback and X2? I am trying to find a comparison to figure it out...

Re: The Ski Lite / XCD thread
Pretty good CIMA... I am beginning my season too... Not on Xadv bindings though... I've seen your vids on vimeo: I guees you probably know some of the japanese guys that I follow, skiing on skinny skis... Telehiro, Boozilland, Hiyokod, YSGXK... Pretty good skiers too. Less into the «think big» sort ...

I would be interested... Send me a pm. I tried to send you one but it didn't work.jschwarz wrote:Very positive experience with wife who blew an ACL and needed confidence in release. Have an extra set I would be willing to let go for a reasonable price - for BD 01. Can send pictures.

Re: 7TM
Thanks LoveJohnny,
Another question: how would you compare them—7TM— with Cobras for exemple or BD 02? I've never tried a binding with cables running under the boot soles... Thanks again... Rod

Re: 7TM
Hello Bri7,
La saison n'est pas finie! There is Jay Peak, poaching some closed ski resort (Stoneham & Mont-Sainte-Anne) and Mines Madelaine later in May... I'll try to post pictures.
Wayne,
Could you develop a bit? How do qualify (or quantify) the difference between the two? Thanks very much...

7TM
Lovejohnny, I would like to know if you had some 7TM before... Do not know how these ski... Some say there are lacking lateral rigidity. I guess they refer to the first generation... I read some of your post about that, but can't exactly remember... I would also like to know what's everybody thought...

Re: Rottefella chili + Atomic Access (191 cm)
I do not think you have that much choice: Either boot center on manufacturer mark or 1 (or 2) cm aft of it... I would go for the first option. Do not ask Atomic... I did, and the answer was «we are not dealing with telemark anymore». Coming out of a «red tape» sort of tech... It is just a matter of ...

Re: New Boots- Suggestions Needed
You will have a little surprise, going from T2 to T1... They feel like concrete boots... Depending on your binding, shoe size (usually shorter is stiffer) and your weight. If you are a big guy with long feet and a very active binding=probably the way to go. But I hate mine... Prefer my T2.
