Re: Alico Ski March Boot

... why do you think your Teletours are 9US and not 9UK? Have a look at the imprinted size on the tongue, I believe is says 9M. Loook at the sizing of your ski march, 8M? Are the boot soles of both the same length? My 8M Teletours have the same sole length as my Ski march 8M (8UK), my Crispi Sydpol...

Great! Interesting that the 8UKs also fit me well as do the 9US Teletours that were too large for you.

Re: Ski Review: 2018-2019 Åsnes Ingstad BC

After getting about 35 to 40 cms overnight on Tuesday, I spent the next day at a local ski resort with the Ingstads. One of the runs wasn't groomed and that's where I skied all day. I don't have experience with many different skis but the Ingtads' were easy to control with Alico Teletours and were g...

Re: Baffin Guide-Pro Boot Review

Nice review! I have some Baffin Apex boots and they are very comfortable and warm. The Guide-Pros would be great for when just skiing a few Kms into the woods and cooking dinner on a camp fire.

There's a good chance that I'll be in that area next summer and I'm considering just that if it's worthwhile. Did you know that Alico and Andrew are practically neighbors?

Re: Gear Basket

The E99s just arrived and they are in pristine condition. Still in the factory wrapping w/o a scratch. If you can use E99s and 200cm is your length there are still some listed by the same seller at the same price: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/NEW-FISCHER-BCX-E99-TOUR-XTRALITE-EASY-SKIN-200cm-SKIS-ONLY-SU...

Re: Alico Ski March Boot

I'm having a similar experience with my UK9s and UK8s.

I did rub in some of this birch bark tar / beeswax grease that may have softened them up a bit:

Re: Gear Basket

I asked about the E109s and just got confirmation from the seller that they don't have the Easy Skin locks even though some of the photos show them.

The seller added another entry for the E99s after I purchased a pair so it seems he has some stock and is just using catalog photos.

Re: Gear Basket

I just grabbed those E99s. Thanks for the heads up Cannatonic!

I love my old BCX E99s but I have them mounted with SNS X-Adv bindings so it'll be great to have a pair with 3 pin bindings and skins.

I was wondering the same thing about the E109s.
