Re: OMG TTS Question

I generally have an upright stance but do go low on occasion -- I haven't bottomed out the springs on my TTS setup. I have the cables in the most forward position of the OMG bracket, but it would be better if the bracket were mounted farther forward to make it less active. The Dynafit toepieces that...

Re: OMG TTS Question

I had read so-so reviews of the OMG toes too, and I had an old pair of Dynafit toepieces, so I bought the OMG option w/o the toepieces (and w/o the hardwire cables too, since I had some spares).

Re: OMG TTS Question

Yes, I have experience with NTN, and, IME, NTN has a much different (and more restrictive) feel compared to TTS, and TTS is much closer to 75mm.

With NTN, I found that it took me several days to get used to it -- with OMG TTS, it took me a few runs.

Re: OMG TTS Question

Is the downhill action strange or different on OMG TTS coming from 75mm considering the heel throw sits on top of the heel ledge and not in the little gap like a heel throw does on 75mm? I've tried comparing this before, and my recollection is that the heel throw position alone does not affect the ...

In Memoriam -- John Prine

Paradise When I was a child my family would travel Down to Western Kentucky where my parents were born And there's a backwards old town that's often remembered So many times that my memories are worn And daddy won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County Down by the Green River where Paradise lay We...

Mt. Evans Scenic Byway

I did a ski tour last week on the Mt. Evans Scenic Byway. It's the highest paved road in North America, topping out at 14,130'. Starting out at 10,650' at the winter closure, I made it up to 12,400' after about 5.5 miles before turning around. I picked this tour partly because I expected fewer peopl...
