Yes.
We have the Ingstad/Tonje in all lengths in our ski clan-
I have tested it in everything from 165 to 205.
At short, downhill-focused lengths I don't prefer the Ingstad to the more conventional, rounder-flexing Nansen though...

Re: Gaiters for Alpina Alaska (or any nnnbc boot)
Hi jooleyen I don't currently wear insulated gaiters. I wear gaiters year-round- and while I do find they improve insulation, by reducing drafts- I primarily wear gaiters to protect my field/touring pants- also, to keep snow out of my pants. I have tried a number of different gaiters- my experience ...

Re: Lundhags Boots
Woodserson So great to hear from you mon ami! The length of the Lundhags lasts are consistent. The Expedition is definitely larger volume than the Guide- HOWEVER- the heel-ankle-achilles of the Expedition is just as contoured and fitted- I get just as snug and perfect a fit here. I have skinny foot...

Re: Crispi Futura Pro feedback.
CwmRaider Ouch! I haven't used the Futura Pro enough to have this experience yet- and, was hoping that the wider powerstrap might reduce the chances of it... I have severely injured my shins with the narrow plastic ratchet strap on the Svartisen- I am very careful to back that strap waaaay off most...

Re: Crispi Futura Pro feedback.
Forgive me if I’m missing something here. Various posts in this thread and others have talked about different XP boots having stiffer or softer soles. My understanding is that there is only one XP sole, which boot manufacturer’s then glue to their particular upper. So is it less the sole and more t...

Re: kom vs Fischer Sbound 125 advice please
Backcountry touring in my region requires endless watercourse crossing- many of which are not frozen at various points throughout the ski season- if one is going to travel any distance, the chances are high that one will have to take off skis at various points to get across watercourses- this is rea...

Re: Crispi Futura Pro feedback.
... Agree- even with the Futura Pro all strapped up- my current experience is that the Free boot is more supportive as well- and- YES- waaay more comfortable for my feet when XC skiing! (I actually cannot personally use the Free boot over any significant distance without hurting my feet...) This wa...
