Re: Binding Inserts

The sizes will vary considerably, depending on the binding being used. They are all M5 screws. Both sites, QK and BF, will have length information. "Hover over the "Screw Lengths" tab and select your bindings manufacturer from the list." https://www.bindingfreedom.com/screw-lengths/ For example, for...

Re: Binding Inserts

I prefer "Binding Freedom" inserts. I've used both. The BF inserts have notches on the top so that you can use a special screwdriver bit to get them in (and out, before the epoxy dries) and the screws that they provide are much better quality and are posidrive (pozidriv #3). https://www.bindingfreed...

Re: Need gear beta after a lengthy hiatus

I also looked at them a few years ago (Sick Days) and everything I read about them was good. Once you're back in the saddle, I think you'll really like them.
I'd mount them boot center over the recommended mounting point as opposed to any older telemark specific algorithm.

Downhill, Super G, Giant Slalom, and moguls all use skinny, long boards. GS are shaped a bit more and probably 5cm shorter. the conditions resemble most resort skiing, packed out and/or icy.
Speaking of which....this is pretty funny.
