Re: The French invasion

Oh, I forgot about the Alpina guys here in QC. I doubt they will let you buy from them but you can tell them I'd like to buy a pair of NNNBC Alaska size 43 if it can be of any help... : ) You can contact them at cs@elansports.ca If you want to post pictures, just use the IMG button above and put the...

Re: Cheap resort/hardpack setup.

Try to mount your HH on a ski with some sidecut if you will use them mostly on hardpack... You can have a lot of fun with your HH and SynerGs even if you're skiing old planks, just try to find a pair with a short radius...

What's your 3p XC quiver? The Alaskas are really fun on the frontside...! 8-)

Lake Placid is about the most <insert some snobby, elistist crap here> town you can imagine. The wife LOVES Lake Placid... Especially the nice outdoor olympic skating ring... ; ) We stayed at the classy Crowne Plaza last time... Trying to act our age... For 65$ a night, we couldn't resist playing t...

Re: My poor Alaskas...

Ahahahaha! I guess I never really learned how to tie shoe laces... Is it right or wrong? 8-) Man this TT forum is a problem. I just skipped on breakfast and ran out of time for my little ski outing this morning It's definitely a problem for a lot of people. But there's another word for it in both Fr...

I'll also add that threads like this are exactly what killed T-TIPS1 for me and most others. Exactly. It would be sad doing the same mistake twice. That's why I'm asking for your advice. I'm no wise man, I don't have a perfect solution. I just want the best for this forum, for the benefit of everyo...

Re: narrow double-cambered off-trail xcountry ski

Yeah by narrow I mean something below 70-65mm at the shovel. I'm simply looking for a XC-style ski that I can use for downhill and hardpack purposes only. Maybe the Sbounds 78 would be the best choice... Oh, you're right, I remember reading that the Rossi BCs were pretty much like alpine skis. I nev...

Re: narrow double-cambered off-trail xcountry ski

Of course not! If I had Vectors, I would have to buy a pair of T4s again and book a room at Gite du Mont Albert to justify my purchase...! I'm looking for a downhill ski. Flat/alpine camber, but light and skinny like a XC ski. And under 1000$. 8-) Ahahahah! Watch out guys, Teleman is starting the of...
