Re: The Ski Lite / XCD thread

Dude, you do know that I lived there for 18 years and that was the closest hill when you need your fix of mother nature right...? (I was super-ANTI Bromont back then... I was sooooo wrong... ; ) Been there only a few times, but never on skis... Please show me around next time...! Maybe I can start p...

Re: narrow double-cambered off-trail xcountry ski

CIMA, those are indeed my dream skis. But they can't make the list because they're way too short and way too expensive...! ; )

Camber does matter downhill on the groomers... 8-)
(Hard to believe but yeah, sometimes I get bored with skiing fresh powder every day and need a hardpack fix... ; )

Re: Coolest of the cool

A T-Bar to the top of Cannon? Gee that must be scary...! I remember riding the Poma lift here when I was a kid. The liftline was a double black diamond trail. I had several nightmares about it. Still, that was my favorite lift. You were never sure if you were going to make it to the top or not. The ...

Re: The French invasion

Minor surgery?!? I don't know about you guys in the US... But I live in a typical ski town. And like all the other ski towns around, EVERYONE here drives a Subaru... I have nothing against it, I just don't like trendy stuff... But you figured that out already... Man, you sure must look great in that...

Re: Kid's on tele Q?

Wow, they actually make TXComps for kids? I'm curious... What size? They're as stiff as the other comps? Same color? I thought they didn't make boots below size 23-24... Well, yeah, maybe 24 mondo would fit a 9 yo boy... I would definitely go for a softer boot... But if I had a lead for a cheap pair...
