I Guessing they need Some Trimming Do you mean that your friend can't HEAR the tech fittings engage? Do they actually engage, but not audibly? I don't understand what the ...

Re: Binding Inserts
I guided for Alaska Mountain Guides and Climbing School doing mountaineering instruction, ski touring, helicopter and fixed-wing skiing. Mostly moderate to high altitude mountain guiding. Also, guided day river trips for Chilkat Guides if things were slow in the mountains. Seems like yesterday...no...

Re: Can't find topics !
I don't have first hand knowledge, but I did a search and found this review from a guy using T4's with UltraVectors....not sure if it helps: "As a trail chief for the Catamount Trail Association in Vermont, I have found the UVBC in 164cm length to be the ultimate tool for attacking the Cat Trail whi...

Re: Binding Inserts
Great shot, where was that taken? I agree...and there's no good time or place to pull a binding. I figure for less than 100 bucks I can bombproof my set up. In the grand scheme of things that's less than 10% added cost...or lunch at Vail. True. The picture is of the Harding Ice Field in Alaska.

Re: Binding Inserts
It's not at all unreasonable to pass on it if you don't have a history of pulling bindings. I've pushed my sons toward using them, as they go on multi-day hundred milers. A pulled binding would be catastrophic. I've pulled bindings and it sucks. So, I just don't take the chance. You could also just ...

Re: another great day Tele skiing 10" powder
Nice. We only had about 4" as of 0900, but I was on the first chair at Deer Valley and no one was skiing the bumps. It's Prez day Sunday.....4" of new snow on bumps and somehow, my first 4 runs are first tracks? 3 tracks here, all mine, going up for 4th and everyone is heading over to the groomers. ...
