Etant naif et peu hipster, j'ai dû chercher "Yavin 4" sur Google. Très bien, mais c'est où, enfin? Un bon clip sur un beau petit coin de forêt. Pas évident de naviguer dans du bois aussi dense. Bien fait!

Hi Jonah5, 75mm=duckbill=NN The nomenclature gets complicated. The 75 mm. boots (aka "duckbill") always come with the 3 holes in the duckbill piece. Most modern tele bindings don't have pins that fit into the holes, but rather use cables/cartridges that force the boot to snug up inside the toe-piece...

"The Trading Post" in Winter Park is a great place for tele gear sold on consignment. My son (16) is on his third pair of Scarpa T-1"s bought for between $50 and $60, sizes 7.5-9.5. Not a lot of kids' small sizes, though. There's also a good consignment store up in Steamboat, but I forget the name. ...

If I understand you, you'd like something versatile that will work well in BC skiing and resorts. I'd recommend avoiding fish-scale bases if you're thinking of resort skiing. They'll slow you down considerably on the low angle sections and will be (painfully) slow compared to waxable downhill-orient...

10th Mountain Huts

Some pics of some recent skiing into and around some 10th Mountain huts. Skiing on Fischer S-Bounds in Arkos leathers and in Excursions. Hardwires with and without the cables attached. Happy with the gear. But even happier with the Colorado snowpack.
