Re: 2019 ALFA Guard Advance GTX M Boots Review

That terrain is super dreamy man- wow!
I love your laces.
Serious stylish customization going on there.
Your comments on the Quest Core are smart. If one finds a great cheap touring boot- cheap to replace!

Re: The Åsnes Thread (News for 2020-2021!)

Åsnes 1922, thanks for your responses. You sold me on a longer FT 62, however that purchase is a few years down the road. I really enjoy the FT 62 I currently ski. I will I need to put much more wear on that set. I just can’t replace something that works so well. You may need to request a commissio...

Re: Seeking wisdom, or at least opinions...

Maybe a fixed-length pole is the answer to finding 160cm. I generally stick with long fixed-length poles all the time, usually 155cm. Using them on the downhills doesn't cause problems for me. >>Would not the Kingsvold be better in powder with it’s wider tip and underfoot? yes, there is a wider one and somewhat narrower one, and now the Finnmark without edges as well. I love these because the skis become featherweight and if it's powder you don't need the edges. I think Finnmark 210's is...

>> FALKETIND 62 BC: 196cm (Wow!) BREIDABLIKK BC: 210cm (Wow!) good news - Breidablikk are extremely light skis......210's would be perfect for hunting, or making turns, in deep powder Would not the Kingsvold be better in powder with it’s wider tip and underfoot? Anybody on this forum ever skied tho...

Re: The Åsnes Thread (News for 2020-2021!)

I wonder if the Breidablikk is not simply an Ingstad without metal edges as they have the same dimensions? Pretty sure that the Breidablikk has the same geometry as the Combat Nato (i.e. previous gen Ingstad)- would be lighter than the Combat without the full-wrap metal edge and binding plate. Also...
