Re: Xplore on Ice?
Ian, I ski an Alico Ski March Norwegian welt UK Surplus version 75 mm boot. I can ski that boot with a 75 mm hardwire binding and a 86 mm underfoot ski in nice powder. I have not skied an Xplore system, but I doubt it offers more power than that system, the Xplore would be much lighter though. My po...

I was able to latch the cable throw securely with my 3-pin Hardwire binding. I guess I’ll find out what happens with a Transit. Maybe the fix ...

Re: Voile transit & scarpa F1
I certainly expect them to be compatible, I plan on using that binding with my brand new (old stock) F-1 Race.
Not being a smart alec, but why wouldn’t they work? The Transit is going to use a standard Plum tech toe, and the F-1 has a shelf for the heel throw.
Good luck,
Bob

Re: Blowhards
I don’t know Conny, seems like there are those that skip the first four stages and go straight to the blowhard stage. Just an observation, I wouldn’t want to speak beyond my expertise !

Re: Terminology: The "Lambda" Tele' Turn
Hello TallGrass, I have no more interest in debating what I know as fact, than I did debating activity of bindings and pressuring the front of the ski with the Canadian guy whom ticked people off. In a right parallel turn the inside edge of the outside ski has the most pressure on it. In the Stem Ch...

Re: Terminology: The "Lambda" Tele' Turn
It really is just the Tele version of a Stem Christie. I’ve been calling it a Stem Tele for years, just to relate it is the Tele version of a Stem Christie. It’s a basic building block in the way downhill skiing has been taught, since European ski instructors came to the States. Really no good purpo...

Well Stephan, and @Nitram Tocrut I so much appreciate when you remind me to behave like a gentleman.
I think we are all passionate about our skiing, that’s another dynamic at work.

For a US citizen, if I’m getting on an airplane and resort skiing, I am going to Salt Lake City. Unfortunately I am told too many people got that information!!!

That explains my weaker back left foot. I guess their was some benefit to my more wayward days in my youth! Which extended longer into life than many!

Re: lead change.. getting to the in fall line?
@Montana St Alum Thank you for the heads up warning about a more active system. When I start next season lift served on a new ski (piste oriented), new boot, and TTS. I wasn’t planning on learning to ski again!
