They've probablt heard of this problem before and can tell you the fix. I'd hope. I can see going to a Switchback binding someday. Seems like there are quit...

Re: Waiting

Ah. I see. A very similar day to mine - except I didn't need to snoblow today. 4 x125' for a 500' start to the day. I'll take it. Even at lunch the tv was tuned to the eastern seaboard weather story...

Re: For a fistful of turns.

It took me 4 runs to get 500' but I made my breakfast meeting and I wasa glad I got out. The grey snow was soft corduroy and it was 23 degrees and I had the place to myself. Re: For a fistful of turns.

thanks Al. I have an 8:30 breakfast meeting. I think I will take your inspiration to heart and hit it beforehand. The skihill is closed till Saturday. It probably won't be very good ski conditions, but when it's long gone soon, I'll wish I had hit it.

Re: New School vs Old School blather. It is just skiing.

It's absolutely just skiing. *EDIT* Great video & I agree with every word. I normally don't even mention technique online or IRL, but Harris posted a video and discussion recently about the Ligety hip swaggle revolution which was a fun discussion and I read that as sort of an open invitation for mor...

Re: For a fistful of turns.

If left to my own devices I would never again darken I-70 however I have a friend with a walkup condo at Keystone and the aforementioned Eagle county buddies and they want to see me and ski with me and I'm lucky to have done it sometimes. but I much prefer "off the beaten track" In order to better f...
