Re: TELEMO SKI & BINDING
Got through to SkiTrab, yup I got it wrong, Skimo skis Mark is the toe line, not the normal boot centre. No moved back, one short outing in sketchy conditions, seemed to be a lot better. The dynema cord does stretch when wet, it only needs a few mm to loosen. It does not have a very progressive acti...

Re: Telemark Skimo racing (was: 3-pin Racing)
Keats on Nevis on Skimo skis....
Read me a lesson, Muse, and speak it loud
Upon the top of Nevis, blind in mist,
If you think I can ski down that,
You must be pissed!

Re: 3-pin Racing
I only posted the good ones! due to the cross fall on the slope, I alpined the upside and long fast tele on the down. Pleased to say the skis gripped well on the polished piste, think my all mountain skis would have skidded more. Previous race not so happy.....enjoy (yup that's me, in the background...

Re: 3-pin Racing
DSC_0747.JPG Completed my second Scottish Skimo race of the season - Glencoe Mountain & British Championships. 8k and 760m climb. First part of the descent a bit tricky - steep red run, polished smooth in centre, with a side camber. I was 46 out of 50, though as a 'senior vet' 2 out of 2. 1hr 37m, ...

Tail fix, no thanks, Skimo tip fix yes!
Saves weight and complexity, and can rip skins with skis on.

Re: ScottyBob skis
I think the ball of the inside boot is actually behind the centre of the ski.
I got mine in their summer sale, still more than I would pay for a ‘normal’ ski, but I have lusted after a pair for at least 20 years.

If I did not have Scottybobs with a lovely wood top sheet, it would be a pair from Lonely Mountain Skis here in Scotland.
