Re: Killington ski area

I forgot to add, it would be a 3 1/2 hour ride........

So, I know this is subjective but would it be worth it with my gear?

Killington ski area

I see Killington is open. Anyone gone yet this year/plan on going this week? I have never been there. It looks like only blue trails are open. I was thinking that those trails would be a good place to practice some telemark turns with my Annums/T4/Hardwires. Is that doable with my setup? Would I nee...

Re: BC touring boot

No worries connyro, It wasn't taken in that way. I just was trying to let people know my experience. With that said I probably won't buy another set of them unless they are for skinny skis because of the lack of support. The whitewoods are good for beginners to get the hang of what they really want ...

Re: BC touring boot

I have had my white woods NN bc boots for many years and they have held up to 500 miles give or take. They are warm and comfortable. However they offer no support at all. They probably would get wet in wet snow but stay dry in normal conditions. They were good to me on my vosses, but would like more...

BC touring boot

Anyone ever use the Alpina bc 1675 boot? I just picked up a pair on ebay, they don't seem to be that common, hopefully the are not complete junk. Anyway they can't be worse than my beat up Whitewoods. I think I am going to use these boots with some of those wood core surplus skis. 75/65/70 made by a...

Re: madshus voss bindings

I actually bought these skis years ago with no knowledge at all. I wanted the wider ski they had for sale, the lady talked me into these. She actually was trying to sell me real thin skis. So, now that I have these skis (which have been good to me) I would like to still use them but with the same sy...

Re: madshus voss bindings

Thanks for the info guys.
I think I will pick up a pair of three pin bindings if it isn't going to slow down the kick too much. Then I use a softer boot with my annums as well.

I would like to stick to one system if I can get away with it.

madshus voss bindings

I have a pair of Madshus voss skis that I have used for years and I like them. However there are times when I wish I had more control on the downhill. Right now I have them paired with nnn-bc bindings. Could I run these skis with a 3 pin binding? Would the kick and glide suffer alot? The reason I as...

Re: Tell us about yourself

Feels great being smoke free doesn't it. I love not having that bogging me down.
It is amazing how much smoking kept me from doing the things I wanted to do. I didn't realize it until I quit.
Anyway, I don't want to turn this into a smoking thread so I will leave it at that.
