Re: Help A Northeastern Trail Runner & Backpacker Build His First Nordic Backcountry Set-Up!

I just bought a set of those poles a couple of weeks ago....seem pretty good so far.

Pouring rain here too....the snow is almost gone. What's left will probably be frozen tomorrow.

Re: Cleaning up/waxing old Fischers

I scraped, and used a wax remover on them last night. I'll brush them out, and start to apply some base wax tonight.

These skis are fairly old and well used, but I did apply some f4 to them. I'm not going to iron the kick zone... was just gonna hit the tips and tails. I did brush them a bit too... didn't scrape them yet though. I'll give em a scraping and some glide wax and see how that goes. Sent from my SM-G950U...

Re: Another new guy saying hi!

I will say that I do love the 88's for traveling over uneven terrain in mostly straight lines, and I do like them more than the old SBound 78's but if the Traverse 78 has changed from the SBound 78 in terms of flex that may be out the window. Cleaning up/waxing old Fischers

So, I finally got a chance to get out on my new to me Fischer Europa 99's today.I picked up a set of 210's on Facebook marketplace for $15. My test run after work went pretty well. No problems with the waxless kick zone, it still works pretty well....no problems climbing a few hills. Glide wasn't al...

Re: Another new guy saying hi!

I’m a new guy and also on the fence between the T78/E88 as well. Leaning towards the 78s currently as I believe I found a solid deal on some at a shop I’d like to support, but that could change tomorrow and I could be leaning back towards the 88s yet again [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapata...
