Re: The NNN/BC Truth Thread

^^ Yea, but, as I mentioned before, the differences are marginal..The BC version is, no doubt, a tiny bit tighter and more laterally stable. A bit bigger bar and clamp..That's about it..Screws etc appear to be identical.. But perhaps someone with the BC version could do the same basic twisting "tes...

Ultimate expedition ski backpack

Most of my ski touring excursions are made from hut to hut, therefore my normal backpack for this is 35/40 liter maximum. Now I am looking for the ski traverse which would demand approximately 2 weeks of autonomy and would carry on winter tent, winter sleeping bag, stove, food and other essentials. ...

Re: The NNN/BC Truth Thread

These are my current skis and they all have pins on them. The E99s and the Glittertinds could definitely be skied with system bindings and I used them for 50/50 like I was mentioning above. Re: The NNN/BC Truth Thread

You can argue the engineering merits of the two, or perhaps multiple systems (I don't consider a simple 3 pin the same as a plate and wire, or SNS the same as NNN) on paper, but it will never convince certain people to switch, myself included. I do not think it is possible to convince someone to sw...

Re: The NNN/BC Truth Thread

Broken NNN BC Auto.jpg As Raventele is struggling to post the photos of the defective NNN BC bindings  I am posting to pictures of my Rottefella NNN BC Auto binding I have broken last season. In fact I have ripped it off from the skis during the fall. Before I have been using it for 12 years a...

Re: How to XCD on NNN/SNS?

Snippet 02 The XCD is not almighty. In fact there are a lot of limitations of snow conditions or terrains along with the difficulties of learning. It's not for everyone. However, if you once get a knack of it, you'll get a superb sense of freedom like flying. We hope many telemarkers will find some...
