Re: Manney, and similar…
Dumb things? like what? It's impossible to ski wet snow on unfrozen ground or how about 10 mph being a good average speed for a bc tour. How about your possibly all time best one ever. Cable bindings don't increase tip pressure. Your the one that's full of it. You do act like your here to save us, in reality your destroying us.
Re: Manney, and similar…
Where was that written… Quotes, links? Maybe same as your Johnny quote…. Imagined experience

Is this how the last few years at telemarktips felt?

Aren’t you the least bit interested in seeing @lowangle al back up any of the batshit crazy claims he makes?

No dude, he's fine. I'm just trying to learn and occasionally be entertained while I pretend to work. And this ain't doing it.

I think I’ve been there (pretend to work).
But, I’m beyond the statute of limitations, now…

I think I’m with @Johnny on this.
I prefer tolerance, but have reached my limit.

(I would rather have 2 or 3 worthwhile, even boring, posts during a typical off-season day, than what we’re getting now.)
It’s happened in the past…

Your tolerance for disagreement is low… reasons unclear but it is putting you into some kind of personal crisis. Are you bored, depressed, feeling powerless? Not trying to get inside your head but something is going on in your life… and its crazy to think that a stranger on the internet is triggering such a response with a few words.

This is one of the more direct things you have written, and sort of invites dialogue, so I’ll respond.Manney wrote: ↑Fri May 12, 2023 6:16 pmYour tolerance for disagreement is low… reasons unclear but it is putting you into some kind of personal crisis. It’s somewhat difficult for one to be a fair judge of ones self, but I believe I have a fairly high tolerance for other opinions, debate, and disagreement. What I have a real problem with is your attitude and the way you address other people. The sense you have a chip on your shoulder and suspect the worst in others, and accuse them of it.
Personal crisis? Not really. Yeah, I’m sitting around waiting for my ankle to heal which is not much fun, but that’s actually going pretty well, and I have plenty of other things I can do in the meantime (that are a lot more productive than this!).
I’m a lot more accepting of what’s going on here than a lot of other people are, and actually find it amusing at times, but in the end, don’t need the entertainment and would be happier without all this back and forth BS.
“and its crazy to think that a stranger on the internet is triggering such a response with a few words.”
If it was a few words, that would be one thing, but this is page after page.
I’ve encouraged others to just not engage and let stuff slide, but some feel a need to rebut or defend, which just perpetuates a negative down trend.
@Raventele was banned for basically the same behavior you exhibit.
Also, there is this thing called transference, where people will try to transfer something within themselves that is difficult to deal with onto something or someone else.
Your questions about me, above, MAY (not is, MAY) be that.
But, it doesn’t matter.
This is not a therapy support forum — it’s a skiing sort of forum.
We just want to hang out and talk about skiing related stuff without someone coming in and telling us how f’ed up we are.
And even if things are as bad here as you say, so what?
I mean so what?
No one invited you in to straighten us out.
God has not given you a mission.
Just let us be in our delusions of grandeur and go save some other group of poor lost souls.
It’s ok, we’ll make it without you.
Re: Manney, and similar…
So basically, you expect me to let stuff slide… but don’t let stuff slide yerself. Interesting.
If you have better things to do, why don’t you do them? Oh, right… invited yourself to straighten me out. Isn’t that my crime? LOL Snort.
You’re a poster boy for tone deafness. You should have yerself banned.
LOL. No one invited you to straighten me out either. This is an example of the kind of tone deaf bs that boomers are famous for… getting angry when ppl do the same thing as you. How weird is that?
Partial quote… Let’s set aside the fact that you made three first person references in one sentence, which is telling.
