I love Japanese food too, but to get through a big day in the bc I would need to add a couple baloney sandwitches to that meal. It's no wonder those guys are as skinny as their skis.LoveJohnny wrote:Woooah CIMA... I'd love to be a member of that private XCD club...!

A few weeks right after most ski resorts closed for their seasons are the best periods for us to prepare for forthcoming spring tours.LoveJohnny wrote:Woooah CIMA... I'd love to be a member of that private XCD club...!
Yes, you're correct. It's Japanese raccoon (tanuki).MikeK wrote:What is the animal in the corner of the first picture? Looks a little like a NA raccoon but with different colors.

Actually, fuel-efficient XCD rigs don't require us calories too much.
Warmed deep-fried tofu (atsu-age) flavored with soy-based-soup and toppings: dried bonito flakes and Welsh onion (negi).connyro wrote:That's some delicious looking snacks there CIMA! Alright. That is making me hungry. When you say "flavored with soy-based-soup" is that miso? If so, what type? Sorry to pry...CIMA wrote:Warmed deep-fried tofu (atsu-age) flavored with soy-based-soup and toppings: dried bonito flakes and Welsh onion (negi).connyro wrote: What is the dish in the top-left corner of the middle photo?

It's not miso.connyro wrote:When you say "flavored with soy-based-soup" is that miso? If so, what type?
The soup is probably made from water, soy sauce, rice cooking wine (mirin), sugar and dashi.
