Congratulations Mike!

Oct. 27th is my oldest's birthday (mine is the 25th)- a very good date!

That photo is beautiful. Best wishes to all 5 of you.

Unashamed to be a "cross-country type" and love skiing down-hill.

Hey - thanks guys!

We also had our first snow the morning they came - it was snowing on my way to the hospital and we had about an inch when the sun came up.

Not enough to ski, and I was too busy anyway, but a good sign 8-)

Seems a lot of Bdays in this time of year... my BIL's is the the 28th and my wife's is Nov. 1st.

The blue Alpina XC are my wife's.
I use the Jarvinens when skiing with my wife.

K2's for the resort.

Alpina Backcountry pair for high avy days, when I keep it low angle and think I might still get some turns.

Chargers for backcountry skiing.

I have my radar set on some 180cm Vector BC skis if anyone has a pair they don't want any more...

wow Mike congratulations to you, 3 new telemarkers at once, that's awesome. Some really nice ski photos on this thread, I'm looking forward to hearing how everyone likes their new Asnes, etc.

very psyched to try my new Gamme and Breidablikk skis this winter, along with my my various Fischer scaled offerings, since it didnt' snow last winter I focused on getting my various skis mounted with 3-pin ST. Gotta set up the wax bench and get cracking, half the skis are glopped with red wax from spring skiing 2 years ago. Yuck. I'll have to try for tuning one pair per night.

Got some Rex pine tar grip wax based on advice from here, going to try the universal as the base grip wax on all my wax skis & see how it goes:

btw - a quick perusal of the internet shows that all remaining 75mm leathers survived the summer intact! Alpina, Alico, Alfa, Crispi all re-upped on their 3-pin boots. Also Bogong sports in Australia restocked their Andrew Shoes Zenith boots - still alive!! :D :D
