NNN-BC? Nah. Way too heavy...
Just give me SNS + my super skinny fischer ultralites
(Oh and a couple inches of fresh powder on a packed + groomed resort slope of course... )

Way to go! XCD! You have the skills!! I like your preference for ultralight.
Would love to post your little video on my twitter account @XCDskier. I love spreading the word of XCD and ultra-light Nordic backcountry skiing.

Sure! Feel free.
Was mostly joking, as this set up wouldn't work in anything but the easiest of conditions. Still fun though!

Thanks! I'll be sharing that tonight. "mostly joking" is fine by me, it's all skiing and fun! But that's classic XCD!!

Actually a lot of people cannot telemark with such grace and skill on skinny skis--very impressive!

thanks! that time was a bit of a breakthrough and the first time things "clicked" for me with those skis. I found stability by keeping the back leg stiffer than I would on other skis. Still have to work on balance. Watching it I notice I leaned into the turns too much.STG wrote:montrealer:
