Rongon, the photos are great! All I can say is "You were there?, Wow!" Oh, and your trip report was up to the magnificence of the terrain. There was no doubt in my mind, when I read your report, exactly what type of awe-inspiring terrain you skied. Great writing, great photos.

So glad you made it home. Kicking Horse ski patrol put out a video while you were there about how deadly the snow was. Worst in 15 years. Inbounds mogul fields sliding etc.

Thanks! I'm glad I got back too. We heard a bit on CBC radio about a guy who got caught in a slide in the Kicking Horse slackcountry and survived it. That was on Sunday March 19, the first Sunday we were there, which was also the peak of the avalanche cycle. Now THAT guy was lucky!anemic wrote:So glad you made it home.
