NNN... 8-)

I am probably the only person on Earth who mounted 3-pins on these

New Ingstad and Tonje Fjellskis are now on Asnes' updated website:
https://www.asnes.com/produkter/fjellski/

84-62-74mm

Same profile as the previous Ingstad/Combat Nato- they are still making the Combat Nato.

Already for sale at SportAlbert
https://www.sportalbert.de/asnes_M=xAsnes_l.dpage

Whoa- I want one...

Also still want a Nansen though...

I couldn't read Anses site in Norwegian. I know I can log on in English on my computer, but I couldn't get there with my phone. Has a change been announced in the Ingstad? The Tonje is a women's ski only available up to 185 cm. I can't imagine Lilcliffy skiing a 185, so what gives???

It's amazing how an update on a website can get me excited that much about a ski... 8-)

Fisheaster, take a look at the original post of this thread...

Try Google Translate- not perfect but pretty good.

Clear changes- rockered and tapered tip. The translation speaks to the new Ingstad being more "directionally stable". Other than that impossible for me to tell from the description what the flex pattern is like.

The rockered tip will definitely improve turn initiation and turn radius- how it effects XC skiing in deep snow depends on the overall flex pattern of the ski...

New Ingstad in lengths to 205cm.

The midwidth XCD ski arms race continues!

I can hardly wait for a review! I could really use a ski like this if:
It was a good for XC
If it is good for XC in powder
If it is fun to downhill ski in powder
If the skin works well, when wax doesn't
The only other thing I would ask for is torsional rigidity in hardpack (resort). The thing is, I have a resort ski. It would be the icing on the cake to never ski in anything but leather boots ;)

This is the definition of the ultimate, perfect ski right? 8-)

Who knows, the new Ingstad could be that perfect ski we're all looking for... I'd LOVE to get my hands on a pair, but nobody knows if it will be available in North America yet... And I still have don't have any news from Asnes either...

No news, no English website, nothing at Neptune or LaCordee... And it's almost november... Let's keep praying all together... Please Asnes, we LOVE you here...! ;)

cool, they did exactly what I was hoping they would do! Keeping the Combat Nato heavier and more durable than the new Ingstad. Now the Ingstad is just as light as Fischer's E109. You can choose which option you prefer. Ingstad looks a lot happier in the picture too!

Another good change - they got rid of the little black knob on the topsheets and use two simple slots for the skin-holes. Looks much better than the knob. The little "asnes" symbol on the knob is just glued on and falls off anyway.

Too bad I won't be buying any new Asnes for about 5 years!

We can always order from SportAlbert or Oslo Sportslager...

Hoping that the new Ingstad is more stable in deep snow than the current E109...

They have redesigned the skin-lock integrated skin as well- it is now called "X-skin" https://www.asnes.com/produkter/skifeller/
