Icelantic Vanguard 107 feedback
Is anyone skiing this tele? Looking for some feedback as I not able to demo anything with my ntn boots.

Re: Icelantic Vanguard 107 feedback
Still haven't skied these yet (due to our current meltdown), but I was wondering if anyone had some feedback on their mounting position. With my NTNs I've always mounted my boot center on the boot center mark. Compared to my older non-rockered GPS these bindings are definitely more forward. For some reason Icelantic won't respond to emails now that I've bought my skis:)

My buddy mounted his Vanguards as you did, 75mm boot though, and no problems. My rockered skis all look forward mounted too in comparison to non-rockered skis.

Stick with where you're at. For burly gear, boot center is the best place to start. If you don't like it, you can move the binding back by only drilling two more holes since the pattern is evenly spaced (1.5" between holes).

First day yesterday. Weird sensation skinning at first. Skis felt really short. I guess I'm used to seeing more ski in front of me. Skiing felt ok. Mix of dense powder and breakable crust. Couldn't quite tell if the tips were diving.
