Good ole New England Slush Storm
Good ole New England Slush Storm
I'm grumpy.
Amusingly, yesterday afternoon I noticed the local ski hill began offering season passes for 2018 - 19. "And you can ski the rest of the 2017 - 18 too". "That'll be about four more hours", says I.

How much is a season pass ?
Re: Good ole New England Slush Storm
Mid week, $269. patspeak.com. It's a neat little resort, well kept up, family owned. I think it's their "hobby business".
The only downside is that in central NH you are going to get some short seasons. This appears to be one of 'em.

That's pretty cheap if you're able to get out mid week. It seems to me that you can't go wrong. If it's a bad snow year man made might be the only option around and if it's a good snow year how can that be a bad thing.

Oooh went up ten bucks!

Oh I'll do it. The place has a good vibe, it's close, they welcome uphill skiers (no charge, ski at your own risk 24/7 -- I've been taking advantage of this), they deserve my support.
Man... the snow we could have if temps were seasonal right now! Danged split polar vortex!

We got 6" where I live in Michigan. I went in late this morning, because with the warm temps forecast for this afternoon didn't bode well for Saturday morning. I made the right decision, but while I had some good snow, it rained before it snowed, I hit plenty of slush that froze to the bases. I only skied 5 miles, but when it may be the last it sure is sweet.
