anemic would say these guys are skiing old school. I'd say otherwise. Pretty badass telemark skiing in my book. Makes me yearn for corn.

This was badass. Reminds me of skiing New Hampshire, except less people. He picks a nice mellow line at the end, my kind of guy.Harris wrote:anemic would say these guys are skiing old school. I'd say otherwise. Pretty badass telemark skiing in my book. Makes me yearn for corn.

Like this one - real life skiing, not perfect powder like we only seem to see.
More slush than corn?
That slough slide would have done for me....at least my boxers!

Gee... Nice vid. New school? Old school? Doesn't matter... Looks like it is already spring skiing for em. Not for us. See enclosed picture from last sunday. That was 2 hours north of Quebec City, road 381, near km 55. Boy was it nice... The skier: mon pote Ephraïm...

That didn't look old school to me. Just a guy taking a conservative approach as apposed to bombing the run.
Slough isn't a big deal as long as you don't try to ski across it. A mistake you only make once.telemarkmark wrote:That slough slide would have done for me....at least my boxers!

Re: It doesn't get much better conditions for chute skiing than this.
Hell yeah. Just gotta catch a flight over to Slovenia! It actually looks a lot like skiing Pike's Peak's U-Notch in the spring, something I've always wanted to send.anemic wrote:Let's find those guys and ski with 'em Harris!!! That looks like a fun crowd in a fun spot.

Actually this would be an even better trip. (hint, wait for the 1:40 mark). And being an aircraft mechanic, what a thrill to ride in a total piece of shit, leaking, Cold War circa Russian ex military helicopter. I just... I just need need to experience it.anemic wrote:Let's find those guys and ski with 'em Harris!!! That looks like a fun crowd in a fun spot.
