I have the opportunity to get a pair of those...

I had, many years ago a pair of BC 90; they are probably the worst ski I ever had. Stiff & high camber, relatively important sidecut, scales that do not climb... they felt like frankensteinish in design. I wonder about the BC 110; they say low camber... Hum. And nordic rocker. I wonder if they are better. I think Bri7 has a pair...

What's your take?

Crappy, heavy, overpriced and made in China... (Sounds exactly like everything Bri7 likes... Half kidding... )

Save your pennies and get yourself some real skis...

From what I can tell:

The current Rossi BC110 is a Fischer S-Bound 112- but, without Fischer's high-quality sintered tip/tail, excellent Offtrack Crown, and integrated Easy-Skin.
I very much like the S-112- though not as much as the Guide/Annum.

The Rossi BC Nordic line is certainly less expensive than Fischer...(Though not better value than the Madshus BC line.)

(The current BC90 likewise appears to be a cheaper Exursion 88- which again I like a lot. The current 88 appears to be available in a 199cm length this year...The previous BC90 with loads of camber and a meager 60mm waist was a strange beast indeed- much like the old Fischer Rebound(?) I think.)

I have never been please with Rossi's BC base and waxless scales- very poor.

Hi Rod,

BC110 are good under certain conditions...
They have no real rocker
They have a medium to large camber
The semi-round scale pattern doesn't climb as well as the omnitrack pattern
They have a medium to good weight/surface ratio
They are real close in design to the Annum. The only real diffrerence is the scale type and the scale position.

Seriously, the only waxless skis on the market worth skiing are the Asnes, Fischer and Voile ones. They know what they're doing. Don't waste your money on cheap Chinese crap. This is not 1995 anymore. We're in 2018 now, there is so much more to life than cheap 20yo Karhu Guide clones.

I had 2 pairs of G3 waxless FINDr's. One pair of the 2016 blue ones like the one of Bri7's pics and one pair of the new red 2018 Findr 86. I didn't even bother reviewing them, they were crappy, bulky, heavy, made in China, and way overpriced, even on sale. I sold both pairs after a week...

Buying skis is voting. Why not vote for people who care about developing new ideas and pushing the limits instead of just jerking around...

Bought a set a few back....Skied them a couple of times....passed them on to Telekid....He and Teleking ski them well but would ski any ski well!....We get what we get and ski what we got!!!!! Teleman

This is disappointing to hear- I had hoped that G3's skis would prove competitive with Voile! (competition is always good!)

I don't actually agree that everything made in China is crap- but, I certainly am committed to "buying local", and would certainly prefer to buy skis that are made in North America or Europe at least...
