"Junior" Sized 150 waxless BCXC skis?
I'm curious if anyone has seen any brands selling smaller Junior sized backcountry xc skis. Looking to get my lady a metal edged setup. Looking around, many of the 150ish size skis are labeled as Junior skis and go for about half the price. Also I have been unable to find anything under 160cm with a metal edge. Asnes makes the mountain race junior but that is partial metal with a waxed base. Is there anyone who makes a sub-160cm BC ski at all?
For reference this is for a 95-100lb 5ft novice skier. I realize that a 160cm ski would work ok but would prefer smaller.

I do not remember ever hearing of a Junior BC ski outside of Asnes and Altai (the Balla with permanent skins).
The Adult's Kom is 150cm and wide, so relatively heavy.
If its for flat or rolling terrain, I would go with 160cm if that is what I had access to.

These sound a lot like the Alpina Control Edge skis, which are a light duty backcountry/touring ski. 155 cm seems to be the right length. Not inexpensive, thought.
