I meant it in a legitimate curious way. My friend just picked up a pair also on consignment, and he was wondering. I am excited for both of you.Inspiredcapers wrote:Still new to me [emoji16]Woodserson wrote:The feeeeel is important.

They appear to be in excellent condition, easily worth the asking price. For me touring for turns, the Ski March is plenty. Johnny can out do me on Alaska boots and NNN. If the Super Comp gives you the the support you need to Ski your best go for it. It's about sliding on snow and having fun.

Of course, they are in good shape... but 125$ for a boot that is almost 30 years old... Hum, not sure. But sometimes, we need to find out by ourselves. I did it last year (the boot was new and really cheap, like 35 $ US); it was far from my best buy.
Good thing about them is they're comfy. The downside: they're really heavy.
You could easily find a nice pair of Excursion or T4 for that price...
Just saying...

Great link- thanks for sending it. Way more options than what’s available locally.bgregoire wrote:For the liners:

Oops, I guess my response could have come across as defensive. Wasn’t intended as such.Woodserson wrote:I meant it in a legitimate curious way. Totally agree regarding the price, no way I’d pay what they’re asking. Looks like they’ve been there awhile- dusty and stuck away in a corner behind some other boots. Yes, they definitely have some weight to them.Rodbelan wrote:Of course, they are in good shape... but 125$ for a boot that is almost 30 years old... Hum, not sure. I do have a pair of Garmont Liberos that I found last year as well. Light weight and a little more security around the ankle than my Alicos but the squeaking from the plastic drives me to distraction.

I’m totally digging my Ski March boot as well. I think I’m better off using those for excursions down logging/fire roads for now and using something with more support while I learn technique.fisheater wrote:They appear to be in excellent condition, easily worth the asking price.
