Ski for Light Feb 9-16
I don't know if anyone else has been to one of these events. It involves sighted leading visually impaired skiers in xc, classical, track skiing. It is a week commitment of time (for skiing!), and a substantial amount of money as well, but worth it if you can afford both.
I am posting this since they are still looking for sighted guides.

Very, very cool.
Cross-country AND down-hill skiing in the backcountry.
Unashamed to be a "cross-country type" and love skiing down-hill.
